Transplant to Engraftment - Day 4

Hello Friends and Family,

We knew that having a stem cell transplant requiring entry in a costly, four month long treatment protocol with highly specialized medical professionals would be rough...but whew. Trudy is feeling very puny these days. The side effects from the chemo portion are still prominent. Trudy has no immune system and has to remain in virtual isolation. Yet, we remain confident and filled with faith that we have been guided to this moment by our Lord. And it is He who will take us through the remaining steps.

This day has had its inevitable challenges and its wonderful supply of blessings. When medical professionals go out of their way to come by to encourage and assure us of your prayers, it is special indeed. I'm always amazed at how God sends just the right person at just the right time to help you focus on Him and His mighty ways. Thank you God!
