August Update on Trudy

Hello Fab Fam and Friends:

We are pleased to bring you a "Praise and Prayer" update on Trudy. Thanks again for your concern and compassionate prayers on her behalf.

In the ongoing fight against Leukemia, we are blessed to report that the initial results of Trudy's Bone Marrow Aspiration, just two days ago, show that the Leukemia remains in remission! We just love the blessed joy of reading the pathologists comments: "No morphological evidence of Leukemia." We give all thanks and praise to the Lord! We yet await the further analysis that will reveal what is going on with the chromosomes. There were some abnormalities that were disturbing in the Bone Marrow report from October...fewer abnormalities, but still troublesome in the January report; then in May...NO abnormalities were present! Trudy asked Dr. Koller how it could happen that her bone marrow "healed" without medical intervention??? He replied with these questions: "Don't you believe in prayer? Are there not many people praying for you?" Yes. Lord, Yes, Lord; yes, yes, yes!!! We do believe in the power of God through prayer and we are mightily thankful for each prayer that has been uttered or even thought on Trudy's behalf! God bless you for your prayers.

Please continue to pray. Trudy is at peace...even in the waiting for the chromosome report soon to come. Even with the quarterly trips to Houston for BMA's and doctor consultations. Even with the consultation with specialists in Stem Cell Transplants as something that may or may not become a factor. Her faith is a great lesson for her husband. She lives well every blessed day and she demonstrates that she will trust in the Lord in all things. Please join us as we ask the Lord to continue to keep Leukemia and all related stuff away. And we pray that Trudy will have a great year in teaching...this is her twentieth consecutive year at Tioga High School...and that she will have all the energy and health that she will need.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
