Update...To Date

Hello Friends and Family,

We want to share the latest with you as a follow-up to Trudy's last visit to M.D.Anderson Hospital. The last report from her BMA came in today...and it was, according to Dr. Koller, "very good."

Once again we feel the need for a big exhale of relief. Yet, we have remained confident in the Lord at the same time! The early test results were very good as mentioned in the previous post..."No morphological evidence of Acute Leukemia." And other labs have furthered the evidence of Trudy's well-being. However, the concern over the abnormal chromosomes still was cause for concern for Dr. Koller and for us. Thus the continuing deeper level (and longer to get results) testing. The test results were delivered by email today and followed by an interpretive phone consult with Dr. Koller. As indicated earlier, he confirmed the excellent words on the report, that there were no abnormal chromosomes in evidence. Major Praise the Lord!

Trudy is feeling well and continues to teach her classes full speed ahead. And she seems to really enjoy accompanying Robert all over Rapides and Grant Parishes, as he continues to get "baptized" (pardon the pun) into his new job as Director of Missions, here in central Louisiana.

Thanks so very much for the prayers. Please continue to offer up prayers for Trudy...that her health will be strong, that the Leukemia and all related stuff will stay away, and that she and Robert will find new and productive ways to share the goodness of the Lord with all whom we meet. We also ask for your prayers for Trudy's brother, Carlos, who thankfully had a "just in time" heart procedure with a stent, that immediately relieved a 99% blockage. He is feeling well again. Then, your prayers for Robert's brother, Jack, are also earnestly sought. Please feel free to check the "Jack's Journey" link on the right side of this blog.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
