Updates for Upward Prayers and Platelets

Hello Friends and Family,

We are thankful for a great network of prayer support for Trudy. Trudy is feeling good, with some of her best levels of energy. Her work in the classroom is going quite well.

Platelets continue to be a concern. They have been very low for about a month even without any of the chemo that suppresses the bone marrow production. She is in weekly communication with the Leukemia team at MD Anderson and she has weekly labs.

We learned that Dr. Koller is in the MDA clinic for a few days and with his okay, Trudy has an appointment to see him this Monday...a week ahead of her scheduled visit. So, she will undergo a Bone Marrow Biopsy and consult with Dr. Koller...a very good prospect for Trudy. Also, Trudy will meet with Dr. Wold later today for a regular exam that she has before the start of each month's cycle of Maintenance treatments.

Special prayer note: please pray for Robert's cousin Steve Daniel of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Steve is Lindsey's dad, and is undergoing tests today and tomorrow in OKC, to determine the nature of a tumor on his kidney.

Thanks for praying. We are praying for the platelets to recover and show higher numbers even by this afternoon. That Trudy will see further gains in her strength and stamina, that she will be healthy, and that all Leukemia issues will stay away.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
