Feels Good to Exhale

Hello all,

Trudy and I just got home from a productive trip to M. D. Anderson Hospital. It was good to see Dr. Koller, Katie Kennon, and Lee Zosa...Trudy's Leukemia team. Better yet, was when Dr. Koller strode into the exam room this afternoon waving the preliminary BMA report and happily announced that the low Platelets are NOT a relapse of Leukemia! Thank the Lord with a big whhhheeeeewwwww! The final BMA report from the pathologist will probably be more revealing as to just what is causing the low platelets and consequently, what steps will be needed. In the meantime, Trudy will drop a couple of meds that may be having some downward effect on the platelets and we should know more by the end of the week.

Thanks again for the prayers for Trudy. And we thank you for the prayers for Robert's cousin, Steve. He will be having surgery tomorrow, Tuesday...please keep him in prayer. Also, please keep my brother, Jack; and Dr. Koller in prayer as they wage battle against Kidney cancer.

As always we are thankful for your concern and prayers that Trudy may gain strength, that she will have good health, that the platelets will elevate to good levels, and that the Leukemia and any other disease will stay away.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
