Thursday Update

Hello friends and family,

Trudy has had a slightly challenging week. From Monday evening through Wednesday, she felt "yucky," slept a lot, and felt weak as a kitten. However, today, the yucks are gone, some energy and strength have returned . . . and her lab results were nice and solid. I think she is ready for a good week-end of baby shower, Grandchildren, and revival services at church.

Prayer requests: please continue to pray that the maintenance chemo will come to a good balance for her so that she will receive the level of chemo that is needed while still allowing her to feel well. Also, please keep Trudy in your prayers a week from today, (Sept. 27), as we will fly to Houston for her Bone Marrow Biopsy and consultation with Dr. Koller at M.D.Anderson Cancer Center. We are praying for the Leukemia to stay away, for continued strengthening, and for steady progress.
