Monday News

Hello,

Thanks again for checking-in here at Trudy's Blog. Trudy started her third month of the Maintenance Chemo schedule this morning: mega dose of Prednisone and some IV chemo. Her labs were nice and solid this morning, so she begins this cycle with positive momentum.

Trudy had a terrific weekend. Jessica and Brian had a baby shower in Ruston on Saturday which allowed for some welcome traffic through our house. Friday, Brian and Jessica came and ate supper with us, deposited Brody (the Welsh Corgi prize-winning show dog) at our house. Also, Wendy and the girls came in and spent the night. Friday, Trudy, Wendy, Melanie, and Kara went to Ruston (and back) for the shower while me and Brody stayed here. Sunday, Wendy and the girls accompanied us to our church services and stayed for lunch at Fire Mountain Grill. A little later, Brian and Jess came through, visited for a few minutes, swept-up Brody and headed for Prairieville. Trudy rested well Sunday night . . . feeling . . . a "good" tired.

Prayer concerns are that Trudy would feel well during this week of Prednisone, our trip to Houston goes smoothly, and that the Bone Marrow test shows continued good news.

Thanks for all the love, concern, and prayers,
Trudy and Robert
