Week Four

Trudy continues to do well. This past week we had a surprise visit from Nephew Jon Daniel, and then we drove up to West Monroe to spend some time with Uncle Luke and Aunt Jo. What a blessing, for Trudy to be physically up to these special times.

Trudy went for labs this morning. Her blood levels are about the same . . . a little low, but not so much that she needed any medical intervention. Her side effects are minimal, she has an appetite, and she can do a great many "normal" things (if she paces herself). Her local physician, Dr. Wold, saw her this morning and he seemed very positive about her response to the maintenance chemo.

Please pray that Trudy will continue to respond well, that the Leukemia will stay away, and that she will be able to enjoy this coming weekend's special activities with our children.
