Yesterday evening Mom had a reaction after she finished the platelets and spiked a fever. They kept her in the ER all night to monitor her and begin antibiotics. This morning her fever is gone - Praise the Lord! They are giving her some blood and then she will be released to go to the hotel. She does however, have a Urinary Tract Infection that we need to pray to go away. This is not causing her any discomfort at this point and she is on an antibiotic to treat it. Pray with us that she will remain fever free, that the counts will begin to recover, that the UTI will go away and that Mom will feel, not just better, but good. She has an appointment with her doctor Monday to discuss the results of the bone marrow test and talk about what is next from this point.
