Platelets

Hello Praying and Concerned Friends and Family,

Trudy and I made Houston without any difficulty. We slept well and were off to MDA early this morning. Her labs revealed that the dropping platelet problem continues. She then went for the Bone Marrow procedure . . . which she tolerated super well. While we were in the cafeteria, we ran into to Dr. Koller's assistant, Katy Kennon, P.A.. When she asked about the platelets and we gave her the numbers, she said that she would call for an outpatient infusion so that Trudy would be good for the weekend. So a bit later today we will return to MDA for that reinforcement.

We will remain here at our motel for the weekend and then we will see Dr. Koller on Monday morning. Prayerfully, he will be able to discern the problem and provide a course of action. Trudy wonders at all of this (me too). Yet, she remains calm and awaits the reports of the tests. Trudy copied the many Scripture verses that have been place on this blog and we have read and re-read them many times over the last couple of days . . . especially the verse (2 Cor. 4:7-9) on the main page just above the picture . . . and we feel the presence of the Lord and the army of prayer warriors in full power.

We appreciate your prayers and request that along with whatever you are lead to pray for, that included will be His solution for the platelets, strength (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) for Trudy, no problems with bleeding while her platelets are low, and peace that passes understanding.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
