ON OUR WAY TO HOUSTON

Trudy has felt really well yesterday and today, and she is READY for Course Four. Saturday was virtually pain free as Trudy enjoyed a day of getting some exercise and good appetite (including a Catfish Dinner) and a visit to her mother's house. Sunday, she has been to church, ate a good lunch, and has had a good nap.

We are about to roll out of the driveway and head to Houston. She has labs first thing in the morning followed by a consult with Dr. Koller. After he sees Trudy, he will admit her with orders to begin treatment. We anticipate that she will receive chemo up into the night on Thursday and be discharged on Friday morning. After discharge, we will head back to Louisiana.

One of us (Trudy, Wendy, Brian or I) will post updates during the week. Pray that the very potent chemo that she will receive this week will be well tolerated and that her kidneys and liver will clear the drug with no difficulties. And, we thank you, too, for the prayers for safe traveling and the time away from home.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert

P.S. to Pam: You may have missed thinking about one other possible culprit . . . hmmm?
