Home From the Hospital

Trudy is back home from the inpatient part of Course Three! She is dealing with some chemo side-effects, and will need to restrict activities and personal contact for the next 10 days or so. She has two outpatient dates for procedures and chemo followed by a couple of dates for labs and possible transfusions during these next 10 days.

Here are some prayer requests: First, that she will be able to make it through the "neutropenic" (no immunity) days without getting an infection. Next, please pray that she the outpatient lumbar procedure will be tolerable regarding the pain she will experience. Then that the outpatient chemo will be well tolerated. Then, please pray that she will not feel terribly tired, blue, or sick during these next days.

Rapides General is not M. D. Anderson, but everything worked as required, and Dr. Wold is wonderful to work with in this setup . . . and being near family, church, and home . . . priceless!

Well, here is another prayer request of a sort . . . Pray for Trudy to tolerate my cooking, cleaning, and nursing. In fact, I'm about to get started on our evening meal . . . Whoaaaaa . . . how does that stove thing work?

We love each of y'all. Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
