Waiting for Transplant_T-5 Days

Hello Y'all...

Grace and peace to you from Trudy and Robert here on the eleventh floor of M. D. Anderson Cancer Hospital. We love you and are so touched by you caring prayers and many words of encouragement.

This fourth out of five days of chemo has been blessedly quiet. Trudy has had some relief from the chemo nausea. She still does not have an appetite, but has been able to eat a little. The chemo installment today was uneventful and she is glad there is only one more chemo to go. Blood cell counts are beginning to "bottom out." She has received two transfusions to help keep her strength up. And, as she wished, she sleeps a lot. Yea for blessed, blissful sleep. PTL!

We continue to pray that the chemo effects will be controllable. Also, that in the time that Trudy is without her immune system, she will not have to deal with anything real harsh.
