Two Year Update

Hello Friends and Family,

Trudy is in this picture with Cassie Marie Benoit, her newest niece, compliments of Russell and Melissa Benoit. A beautiful new addition to Trudy's burgeoning extended family.

Well, it was two years ago today that Trudy was discharged from her first week of induction chemo at the wonderful M. D. Anderson Cancer Hospital. My, what a journey for this faith-filled cancer warrior! Many challenges have been faced and just today, she began Month 22 (of 30) in the Maintenance Protocol. Her labs revealed that her counts were good and strong. Trudy is feeling generally quite well. She has about the same amount physical of complaints that husband Robert has himself. Sore muscles here and there remind us that time takes its inevitable toll on the human machine...yet we feel good and do almost anything we wish. Thank you God for the blessing of great days and the ability to enjoy great experiences.

We are grateful for the prayers that each of you so wonderfully offer on Trudy's behalf. Thanks so much! Please pray that she will continue to have great counts and a great sense of well-being. Also, that the chromosome concern will simply be a non-factor and that the Leukemia and any other health issues will stay away.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
