Thanks for looking in...

Hello Friends and Family,

Thanks, too, for the prayers! Trudy had a pretty tough week, what with the remnants of a nasty cold, a painful Bone Marrow procedure, Vincristine infusion, and daily mega doses of prednisone. Thankfully, as of today, things are beginning to level out a bit. Here's the latest on the concerns.

First of all, the first data from the BMA is in and the report looks fine. The ranges are all in the expected ranges with the exception of some rogue chromosomes. The same thing had popped up at the previous BMA from October and are likely suspects in the recent problems with low platelets and the fluctuating Red and White cell counts. The BMA will be further analyzed to make some determinations as to where to next point the treatment regimen. At the present, Trudy remains on a modified Maintenance Protocol with no oral chemo. The deeper testing will yield results only after two to three weeks, so we will let you know more when those results become available. Dr. Koller indicated that he was encouraged by the recent upturn in Trudy's numbers...which brings us to today's labs.

This afternoon, Trudy had blood work at Dr. Wold's office and we are pleased to report that the numbers continue to improve. All the main numbers (Platelets, RBC, and WBC) are well within the expected ranges. And to even beat that, Trudy is over the cold and the residual pain from the procedure and the dreaded "prednisone effect" is almost completely gone...so she is feeling good again.

Thanks again for the prayers. Fighting cancer is no picnic in the park. It surely helps to know that friends and family are maintaining this incredible prayer support. We thank you and we thank God for these blessings. Please remember to ask God to keep the Leukemia and all related stuff will stay away...and for Trudy to be blessed with complete healing.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert

P.S.: We do have many blessings and a lot of enjoyment in our lives. Just yesterday we were able to make a run down to Prairieville for some great time with Wendy, Kirk, Daniel, Melanie, Kara, and Robert's sister, Marcia. Thank you Lord!
