Quarterly Checkup in Houston

Hello Friends and Family,

Trudy and Robert are on the way to Houston, Texas. Trudy will have the quarterly follow-up exam at M. D. Anderson Hospital.

First thing Monday morning, she will have labs at the "fast track" station on the eighth floor clinic. After that it's off to the BMA Outpatient Clinic across the hospital on the seventh floor, where she will undergo an uncomfortable and sometimes painful Bone Marrow Aspiration procedure...about 40 minutes. Then, after lunch, she will meet with Dr. Koller, her attending physician. Finally, around 3:00 p.m., we will head for home.

Please remember, too, to keep Robert's brother, Jack, in your prayers tomorrow. He will be undergoing a "Gamma Knife Radiation" procedure to attack a tumor that is behind his left ear. Also, he was found to have a very small spot on a lung that will be radiated in the near future.
