Up is Good

Hello Again,

We are pleased to report that the Lab results from Tuesday, and today's visit with Dr. Wold were encouraging. All numbers, especially the WBC counts were moving upward! Dr. Wold explained that when a person is constantly on chemo, the Bone Marrow gets tired and needs some time to recharge. He is pleased at her overall good health and ability to withstand the rigors of teaching, even with low counts, and pronounced her ready for Month 16 of the Maintenance Protocol, to begin on Monday.

We pray that the Platelets will soon move above the 70,000 level and that her WBC and RBC counts will be solid and steadily above the minimum thresholds for maintaining her health and strength. Teaching is tiring in the best of conditions and Trudy has come home at the end of the day with some profound tiredness...but thankfully, no "bugs."

Also, we ask your prayer support for Jack and Dr. Koller (Kidney Cancer), for Trudy on those difficult first 5-7 days of each cycle. And that the Leukemia will stay away.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
