Hi Y'all,
Trudy made it through another hurricane and teaching week. We were just on the fringe of "Ike" and had no significant issues at our home. Lot's of people suffering in Texas and parts of Louisiana. Our prayers go out to them. Trudy's counts remain sluggish but thankfully she has had no sickness to deal with. She stays pretty tired and she has to endure frequent neupogen injections by her clumsy nurse Roberto. I would "fire" him, but it would be much too costly.
Thanks again for the terrific prayer support. With God's help and with time to strengthen, we feel that her bone marrow will produce the increase in her counts that she needs right now. She will go in for labs on Tuesday and we will get an update out soon after. We continue to pray for Trudy to have the stamina for teaching, for her counts to increase, and for the Leukemia to stay away.
