Trip to Houston

Hello All,

Trudy's trip to Houston went really well. We were able to make a brief stop in Beaumont for supper with one of her Rapides High Mustang friends, Carla (Burris) Walters and husband Dan, Carla's mom and dad, Flo and Carl. After supper, we continued on to Houston, arriving at our motel a little after 9:00 P.M.

Monday, Trudy did labs, met with Dr. Koller, and then had a Bone Marrow Aspiration. While, we won't know the results of the BMA for a day or so, we can tell you that the physician consult was excellent. Dr. Koller expressed his encouragement for how well Trudy has done. He was also quite supportive of her return to teaching in August.

Thanks again for the prayers. We will let you know of the BMA results real soon. Today, Trudy began month number thirteen of thirty in the Maintenance chemo protocol. We pray that the first five days of this cycle will go well and that she won't have much discomfort. May the Lord grant that her strength will continue to return toward her pre-Leukemia levels and that the Leukemia will stay away.
