Update on Trudy

Hello Friends and Family,

Trudy is feeling sooooo much better. This past week her recent problems with the infection have all but disappeared and her energy level is gradually growing stronger. We are very thankful for the prayer support during this time.

As you can see from the picture, Trudy had a very wonderful visit from Wendy, Kirk, Daniel, Melanie, and Kara. The children like to play Grandma's piano! Trudy sat down with them and began playing and teaching...which all of us enjoyed greatly. For all our Shackelford family, that stimulated thoughts of Grandma Shackelford. Later that day Trudy sat down at the piano and began playing Grandma Shack's famous rendition of "Foxy Grandpa!" What a memory. Trudy carried on two of Grandma's legacies: tatting and "Foxy Grandpa." Well, we maximized our brief visit with all the fun we could pack in!! Thanks Wendy, Kirk, Daniel, Melanie, and Kara...you made Grandma Daniel's day.

Your prayers are always appreciated and your concern in checking in here at Trudy's blog is very touching and helpful. On June 30, Trudy will be at M.D. Anderson Hospital for another Bone Marrow Biopsy and Leukemia Team consult with Dr. Koller. Please pray that once again the trip will be safe, that Trudy will show continued growth in strength, and that the Leukemia will stay away.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
