Prayer Updates 3

Hello Friends and Family,

Wanted to get you an update on Trudy's mom. Mrs. Effie had successful open heart surgery Monday around noon. The surgeon repaired a leaky valve and closed-off a troublesome blood clot...and all went flawlessly. She is now in ICU at least until Wednesday. Pretty uncomfortable, but doing really well. Recuperation will be hard, but she will do everything necessary to get past this and on to the removal of the other clots in her legs.

Trudy is doing excellently. She began Month 14 of Maintenance Protocol on Monday with mega doses of prednisone and IV chemo. Her strength is improving and she has spent time with her mom and also put in some time at Tioga High School as the return of the students is just around the corner. We are mighty thankful for this great infusion of strength and energy...in God's timing, it comes right in time for her resumption of classroom duties.

We want to ask for your prayers for Effie Benoit as she recovers from open heart surgery, for the remaining clots to be soon resolved, and for Trudy to grow stronger and that the Leukemia will stay away.
