Hi,
Trudy and Robert are on their first cruise. We boarded the Norwegian Spirit, Sunday afternoon and set sail for the Caribbean. We have been at sea for about 26 hours and will arrive in our first port (Roatan, Honduras) tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.. We are enjoying many of the amenities of the boat and even though the seas are moderate (4-8 feet waves) we are feeling great. We have walked around the ship both inside and on the outside track, several times and we really enjoy the views.
Tonight, we are going to dine in the Windows Restaurant (great view of the Gulf) and take in a show. Our "Stateroom" is pretty small, but comfy enough and there is something to do 24 hours a day. We plan to do excursions at three of the four ports of call and we will update the blog later this week to let you know of Trudy's exploits in such places as Belize and Cozumel.
