Month Eight of Maintenance

Hello Again,

Thanks so much for the prayers and encouragement. Month number eight is under way. Earlier today, the once per month IV chemo (Vincristine) was administered and the oral Prednisone was taken. Labs were also done. The labs showed that all the main blood counts are in good ranges. Red blood cells are a little low. The red cells affect energy levels and we pray that they come up just a few tenths of a point.

Apart from the tired feeling, this eighth cycle is off to a good start. Please pray that Trudy will gain some strength the next couple of days, that the "Prednisone Week" will go well, that she will be able to sleep well, that her sense of self will be "her usual chipper self," and our continuing prayer . . . that the Leukemia will just . . . it will just stay itself away.
