Hello from South Carolina,Trudy and Robert are gratefully enjoying at week at Hilton Head Island in South Carolina! We are the guests of my oldest brother, Jack and his wife, Karen; with a "time share" arrangement that they have. We also, enjoyed a visit from one of Trudy's high school buddies, Ora Lee (and David) Davidson. The weather has been great and we have had some memorable moments.
We have toured Hilton Head Island, toured Savannah, GA., taken a Dinner Cruise down the Savannah River, and tasted the fine cuisine of the area. Robert and Jack have played a few rounds of golf. Trudy and Karen have found a few fine shoppes. All in all, it's been fabulous!
Best of all, Trudy has felt great! We are so very thankful for healthy times like these. With Dr. Wold"s and Dr. Koller's guidance, she has been able to continue her treatments and labs, even while on vacation. Every time we reflect on the difficulties that she has experienced, and the discomfort of her treatments, we are beside ourselves with gratitude for your prayers and encouragement. We know that God has and is answering prayers on her behalf. Thanks so much for all you have done.
Please continue to pray that the treatments will continue to be effective and that the Leukemia will stay away.
