Good for Trudy!

Hello Friends and Family,

Trudy continues to get stronger and to receive good news from her physicians. She saw Dr. Wold on Monday and he gave her glowing affirmations on how she is handling her Maintenance Chemo Protocol.

In fact, he reduced her lab frequency from two times per week . . . to two times per month!! That is a great change from the old schedule. Also, he allowed her to have the "Picc Line" (that has been in her left arm since March) removed and replaced with a sub-claval Port. The Port will be invisible and will not be affected by getting wet and will accommodate the infusion of the only chemo she needs that is not oral.

We are mightily thankful for these adjustments that will free her to do so many more things that she likes to do . . . and now feels strong enough to do. Again, we are mindful of your concern and prayer support in this progress . . . Thanks a million!

Trudy journeys back to Houston in late January for another Bone Marrow Aspiration. As we have in recent months, we ask for your prayers that she continue to grow stronger, and that the Leukemia will stay away.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
