The News on Trudy . . .

Still Good, still solid.

Thanks for checking-in here at Trudy's Blog. Trudy continues to respond quite well to the maintenance chemo. Her numbers are showing some of the chemo's effect as they exhibit a modest decline. Nothing alarming and nothing in need of an adjustment. We are thankful.

Trudy is enjoying having enough energy to do some "regular" things. Yesterday, she was on her own as she went by herself to the hospital for labs! After labs, she met a friend for lunch, and then she went to her school for a couple of hours to help her "substitute" in his preparations for the start of school. Today, she is going to Prairieville with her mother and sister to visit the grandkids for a few hours. It has been almost six months since she last experienced some of these choices and activities. Needless to say, she sees "routine" experiences in a different light nowadays.

Prayer needs . . . Chemotherapy is still pretty "all-consuming:" in scheduling her life, how it makes her feel, and as the rest of us can only imagine, how it stays in the thoughts constantly. Pray that she will continue her wonderful positive attitude of faith. Also, that she will continue to feel well as these maintenance chemo doses build-up in their cumulative effect.
