Still in Holding Pattern

Hello again,

Trudy did not go to Houston today as previously expected. She had received an email from Dr. Koller, to get lab's today and call him. She has now heard from her doctor (Dr. Wold) here and at MDA and the word is . . . "wait." Dr. Koller (MDA) and Dr. Wold both feel that she needs more time to recover. Naturally, she wants to get moving on the chemo and the sooner the better.

After receiving a transfusion on Saturday, Trudy does feel much better. She walked around WalMart and did some household things this morning after labs. Yesterday, she attended morning and evening church services. She said "I may not be able to win any races, but it sure feels good to have some energy."

I hope you don't get tired of hearing about platelets . . . for that is her top need and our sincere request for your prayers concerning Trudy. Also, pray that all the Leukemia related concerns be met with God's healing grace and that mind, body, and spirit will be strengthened during this week of waiting.
