Holding Pattern Continues

Dear Friends and Family,

Your presence in this electronic cyber space "blog" on behalf of Trudy is to her and to me, a MIRACLE! Who would of imagined that through this medium, thousands of people have (and are) checking-in on her during these recent months. And we appreciate the many people who have given her the wonderful gift of personal encouragement through the guest book notes.

These days of waiting for some evidence of the awakening of her bone marrow would be much more difficult without your love, concern, and prayers. Thanks for everything!

Today's labs were stable. While we are thankful that no transfusions are needed today, we are as you might expect, susceptible to the urge to eagerly look at the report, hoping to see if today is the day. Sometimes, after another lab, it takes a few minutes to remember that every day is a blessing from God . . . and that He is in control, and not the least bit surprised by the labs. Today, Trudy is feeling good, energetic, and able to enjoy getting out to see some friends and family.

Again, thanks for the love, concern, prayers, and encouragement. Please pray that her bone marrow will soon replenish her blood with goodly amounts of platelets and any other needed components.
