New Regiment

Hello Friends and Family,

Trudy began her new "maintenance" chemo today. It consists of a few hours at the outpatient clinic for labs and IV chemo. This chemo is only one day a month and only takes about 30 min. to administer. She also takes another daily chemo that is in pill form. Depending on her counts, she will take another chemo pill, one day per week. Her counts, today, were similar to last weeks, and adequate to get started on the maintenance protocol. The chemo is less intense than the stuff she had been through four courses of hospitalization, but it is still chemo and all the possible side effect warnings remain factors to be "on top of."

Trudy had a great weekend and she is feeling very good today. She enjoyed a great day at church, visit from Wendy, Daniel, Melanie, and Kara and is presently busy with a favorite project. Please pray that she will tolerate this new regiment well, and that any side effects or complications won't amount to hardly anything (or at least be much less difficult than the previous stuff).

She is so thankful for this new approach and we continue to be wonderfully in awe at the outpouring of love, concern, and prayers on her behalf.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
