Hello Friends and Family,
On this beautiful Wednesday, Trudy and I wanted to get this blog update to you. Trudy is still feeling okay, but more and more of today and most likely the next several days, she will feel the effects of "zeroing-out" in white cells, platelets, etc. During this time, we will go to the hospital clinic several times a week and she will get a transfusion as needed. Should she get an infection, she will, as last time, be admitted back to in-patient status.
This morning, Trudy felt well enough to go for a drive. We had a couple of errands to see to and she enjoyed just being able to enjoy a beautiful, sunny day. We once again experienced the hand of the Lord, as He placed in our path, an encourager. This man is a 17 year survivor of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and his compassion for Trudy was evident. Moreover, he even gave me some special Chocolate Chip Cookies that are just coming out of the oven . . . right now . . . gotta go . . .
All our love,
Robert and Trudy
