Today is a special day for Trudy. She has already enjoyed the special Guest Book notes on her birthday . . . and I want to ask you to say a special birthday prayer for her.

She did get released from the hospital but not released to go back to Louisiana. We must admit that we were a bit discouraged to hear that doctor's order. But, in a short time we realized that God is in control and that the doctor had good reasons. Trudy needs some more time to fight-off the infection and to adjust to oral medication (vs IV meds). She has run a low grade temp. since we returned to the apt. The prayer request . . . ? That the meds and Trudy's fast returning immune system will fight-off the infection and that by Thursday (her next doctor's appt.) she will be released to head home to Louisiana.

Also, our prayer is that she will be able to do Course Three at our home hospital, under the watchful eye of our home physician, Dr. Wold, to experience the comfort of regular surroundings, and the healing presence of familiar faces. If she is deemed "ready to proceed" on Thursday, then we will return to our home and the Alexandria chemo will begin, probably early next week.

Again, thanks millions for the prayers, the compassionate concern, and your evident love for Trudy. Blessings,
Robert and Trudy
