Thanks again for the concern and the prayers. Trudy is doing well, and the infection is less severe than the earlier case. We did get to move to a room that allows me to stay with her and that was a blessing. And the move allowed me to be at home with the nice "fold-out" chair-bed. It features some spine-tingling ripples and some neck-stretching ridges. Kidding aside, I feel very blessed to be allowed to be with Trudy here during this healing experience.

This morning, the lab report is showing what appears to be an early hint that her counts are recovering. Her white cells and platelets are, ever so slightly, up from the last few days. Her doctor said that if that trend is still in evidence tomorrow, we will talk about her discharge from the hospital.

Between antibiotic treatments this morning, she was free from the IV Tree for a few hours. She was able to take a nice shower, go for a stroll out in the beautiful grounds, and attend the hospital chapel service. After a tasty Quesadilla lunch, she decided to take a nap while I watch the Phoenix Suns game on TV (I know, I know . . . tough decision, huh?). She has felt quite good today, and for that we are grateful.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
