Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jog

Trudy is Home!

On Friday, after a brief visit to the hospital Infusion Clinic to get her Picc Line checked-out, Trudy and Robert headed back to Louisiana. The trip went well and we arrived home around 2:15 p.m.. We were warmly and affectionately greeted by Melanie, Daniel, Kirk, Kara, and Wendy . . . who devoted the last couple of days to getting our house and grounds completely ready for Gandma Trudy. New flowers are planted in Trudy's beautiful garden that she enjoys so much. The lawn is mowed the weeds "eaten" and even the vehicles are washed. Inside, everything is scrubbed clean and fresh. After some catching-up, and fun stuff with the g-kids, we settled-in for a great night of rest.

This morning, we enjoyed waking-up to the Grandkids, being outside in the lovely Spring weather, and a much needed visit from Trudy's mom. Trudy is feeling quite good. No pains, fever, or yuckky stuff!

We don't take these good days for granted nor do we think that we know what tomorrow shall hold, but, with the Lord's blessing, Trudy plans to be in church tomorrow at Bethel Baptist Church. This is her home church and she was last there on February 25 . . . nine weeks ago. I don't suppose Trudy has ever missed more than two consecutive church services in her whole life . . . even after having children. Even though she attended Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Houston on the first Sunday in April, and last Sunday's M DAnderson Chapel service, being back at Bethel will be extra special.

Blessings,
Trudy and Robert
