Chemo Starts Monday

I just got off the phone with my mom. She had her appointment at 1 and tried to get everything worked out to start the chemo today but it just didn't happen. They feel certain they will get a few more details worked out first thing Monday morning and she will get started immediately. The doctor wants her there for the first two treatments. She will be there for 21 days minimum. She will require 8 treatments, which will be given over the next 6 months provided she doesn't get any type of infection. The other 6 treatments will be given in Alexandria and she won't have to spend so much time in the hospital.
The doctor gave the OK for us to go see her as long as we are healthy and well. My family will leave first thing in the morning and hope to have dinner with them so the kids can see her before the chemo starts.
The cost involved with this are going to outrageous! I know this is pocket change for God and he will provide. Kirk and I are going to a bank on Monday to look into setting up a place for donations.
