Hello Friends and Family,As you can tell from the topiaries in the background (click to enlarge), Trudy has been to Disney World! We had a great time being with Wendy, Kirk, Daniel, Melanie, and Kara.
We had eventful flights both to and from Orlando, Florida...but they were safe. We had actually boarded a plane in Alexandria, La., when they discovered a "maintenance" issue and that flight was canceled. So, the airline rerouted us on another carrier and we arrived in Orlando, a bit later than we originally planned. The return trips were right on time, but one leg included some fellow passengers that I don't think really needed a plane...
At Disney, Trudy went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. She had a wonderful time and felt none of the tiredness that had been a factor in some earlier excursions. Trudy and I both enjoyed watching our grand children's expressions of joy and amazement. We also had the very nice and pleasurable experience of going to Titusville, FL, to visit at the home of Robert's cousin, Judy Gilchrist, her husband, Don, and Robert's Ninety-five years young Aunt Nita.
Thanks so much for checking-in here at Trudy's Blog. We have so much to be thankful for and prayer requests to share. Please pray that a recent condition of small sores that Trudy is dealing with will soon clear. Also, we continue to pray for growing strength, and that the Leukemia will stay away. Also, we appreciate you prayers for Robert's brother, Jack, who will soon begin radiation treatments in his battle against cancer.
Thankful that the Big "C" is over the little "c"
