Robert's Report, Star Date 03082007:
As Wendy said, Trudy began chemo at 4pm . . . however, she had to stop at 5pm. She had a bit of a reaction that caused fever and chills. After some medication, she gradually got ready to resume, which was about 8:15pm. She, as predicted by the nurse, had no more problems and slept through most of the rest of the initial treatment. The nurse said, "the greater the chills, the greater the kills." So Trudy is in attack mode and she is killing the enemy.
Later this morning, she will start on the second treatment, a different chemo. Right now, she is in her usual morning mode, bright-eyed and chipper. In a few moments, "Room Service" will bring her breakfast. Oh, her room faces the east, so early in the morning we open the blinds of our 12th floor Penthouse and watch the sun rise over the Houston skyline. His blessings are "new every morning, great is thy faithfulness, O Lord."
Thanks for the prayers and the love,
Robert and Trudy
