Robert's Log: Stardate 03182007

Wow, what a day! Trudy enjoyed her day with her sister, Katy. They took care of things here at the apartment and Katy was a terrific nurse. Trudy felt some effects of her chemo from Saturday, and while she was her "chipper" self, she had to take things slowly and carefully today. We appreciate Lloyd and Katy so much. Lloyd was Robert's co-pilot in the drive from Houston to Tioga, and Tioga back to Houston . . . then, he and Katy drove back to their home in Deville. In all, Lloyd logged some 20+ hours of car time over a period of three days. Thanks Lloyd and Katy . . . for everything!

Meanwhile, I was able to spend Saturday night at home in Tioga. It was good to be able to personally check on things and be able to see those things that we could use in Houston. I was further able to go to Bethel Baptist Church in Colfax . . . and preach! It was great to be able to see the folks there who mean so much to us. What a great privilege God has graced to me.

But, when I layed eyes on my Trudy, my heart simply melted afresh and anew. I am truly home, now. Please know that our prayer request for Monday, is that Trudy will feel well, that we will have a good day at the hospital, and that she will tolerate all the procedures in fine fashion. Also, pray for her consult with her physician, Dr. Koller, that he will be led by the Lord in all that he discerns for her continued treatment. Pray that the Leukemia is all ready to disolve away.

Thanks for the prayers, love, and concern;
Robert and Trudy
