Robert's Log, Stardate 03152007:
Hello Everyone,
Here is the latest update on my dearest Trudy. The last couple of days, she has had some low spots. Sometimes just feeling yucky, other times, being pretty ill. Right now, she is feeling better and we are thankful. Others that have experienced this sort of chemo have told us that these kind of days do occur and that the best thing is to focus on at least one good thing. Trudy does that so well. So, we look at this blog, and we see not just one good thing to focus on, but many, many things. So, again, thanks for the prayers and the encouraging notes.
We have settled nicely into our apartment. It is a very nice unit in a sprawling complex. We were amazed that the washer and dryer held up to all the loads of clothes we ran through them. We are convenient to the Medical Center, shopping, grocery, and fast food. The apartment is a ministry of Kingwood Church of Christ. Kingwood is in a cooperative ministry with 13 other churches that maintain long-term leases on apartments that they make available to people who have to be in Houston for lengthy medical procedures. This is surely a "God Thing!" We are so blessed to be a receipient of this wonderful ministry. If you know someone who would benefit from this ministry, have them call (713) 529-4167.
Again, thanks for everything.
Robert and Trudy
